Heat-Sealable Coatings
We offer heat-sealable coatings with low-activation-temperature options for paperboard blister packs, boxes and trays. Selected grades can replace PE extrusion coatings in suitable constructions while providing water and water-vapour resistance.
The range also includes solutions for sealing PET trays with easy-open PET lids. Selection depends on the substrates, required seal strength, opening behaviour and processing conditions.
Cold-Seal Coatings
We offer cold-seal coatings for flexible packaging, including biscuits, chocolates and ice cream. Suitable substrates include paper and selected plastic films.
For corona-treated PP, Samtack specifies a surface tension above 38 mN/m. Grade selection and application conditions are confirmed through technical evaluation and packaging trials.
Product selection depends on the substrate, equipment and operating conditions. We coordinate technical evaluation and trials before approval.
